Rev. Dr. Clyde E. Glenn has compassionately served as undershepherd since his call as the 16th pastor of the Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Clarksdale, Mississippi on April 24, 1998. He skillfully preaches the Word of God and engenders spritual transformation among parishioners. Pastor Glenn strives daily to generate among the membership a personal, lifelong, obedient relationship with Jesus Christ. His desire and mission of the Chapel Hill church family is to share with humanity the redeeming love of the gospel of Jesus Christ through behavioral preaching, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry and worship.
Rev. Dr. Glenn is currently the President of the Coahoma County Congress of Christian Education where he previously served as 1st vice president.
Rev. Dr. Glenn is a graduate of Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi where he recieved his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology Pre-Medicine. He serves his fellowman in a professional capacity as a liscensed psychiatrist. His interest in psychiatry began with a medical school clerkship at the Univeristy of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa where he noted widespread disparity in health care delivary among African Americans with psychiatric illness. Upon receinving his medical degree, he completed a four year residency in general psychiatry at The Ohio State University where he received Excellence in Service and teaching awards and was chosen by his peers as Chief Resident.
He is proprietor of Rehoboth Psychiatric Services, which was established in May 2000.
