"We will not hide them from their children, we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power and the wonders He has done." Ps. 78:4
The purpose of Children's Church is to glorify God by teaching young children the truths about God and the Bible. This ministry helps transition children into the formal Sunday family worship, preparing them to assume their role in a larger worship setting.
We hope to encourage the children to grow in Christ, and share what they have learned with others. We hope you will share your precious young ones with us and let them join in our program!
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God." – Colossians 1:9-10
We are extremely proud of our young people and the positive Christian works they have been involved in over the years. We try to encourage a better understanding of Christ, and traditions of the church, as well as offer opportunities for christian service, wholesome activities and outreach.
We hope you will share your precious young ones with us and let them join in our program!
"Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation." Psalm 111:1
The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship.
The Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through music experiences.
The divisions of the Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church Music Ministry are as follows:
Sanctuary Choir
Total Praise Youth Choir
Male Chorus
Mass Choir
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God.
If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
